About Absorb Knowledge Successfully

Absorb Knowledge Successfully has grown from Knowledge Above Standard, one of London’s premier tutoring companies, founded by Kas Varsani with over 30 years of experience in education. Since 2006, we’ve been dedicated to helping students excel, and now, we’re excited to bring the same commitment to success to Perth, led by Akshay Varsani, who also has years of teaching experience.

At Absorb Knowledge Successfully, we believe that tutoring is more than just filling gaps - it’s about igniting a passion for learning and ensuring each child reaches their full potential. In today’s world, where private tuition can often feel like a business rather than a service driven by passion, we stand out by focusing on the individual needs of each student. With a background in Psychology and decades of teaching experience, we know how to connect with students, build their confidence, and inspire them to succeed.

We strongly believe that children need a solid foundation in education which can only be obtained from a structured and organised learning process and this is exactly what Absorb Knowledge Successfully supplies. We highly recommend children to start as young as possible to encourage stability and develop progress that will enable them to succeed with any GATE/ASET and ATAR exams that they may take.  We equip children not just with knowledge, but with essential life skills such as motivation, organisation, and time management.

At Absorb Knowledge Successfully, we also specialise in working with students with learning difficulties, offering tailored support to help them overcome challenges, build self-confidence, and believe in their ability to succeed.

Although we believe that education should be fun, hence our small groups, our methods of teaching are very traditional.  Disciplinary and routine are key factors in our teaching, especially when it comes to homework.  Whilst it’s fundamental to focus on the child’s self-confidence, it is just as important to help them find education satisfying and rewarding, both of which from our experience can only be achieved by firm guidance.

Close collaboration with parents is another essential factor that all tutors should be able to offer.  Tuition is not just a relationship between the child and a tutor, it involves parents too.  Speaking to other parents, you will learn that we are always there to advise home learning tips, monitor progress and help with any administration for school applications.

Class Structure

Classes at Absorb Knowledge Successfully will only ever be a maximum of six children in a group.  This is to ensure that each child will receive maximum individual attention, as well improving motivation and encourage learning through healthy competition, whilst also getting the personal attention that they deserve.

We feel that if the groups were any larger, it becomes difficult to give children the personal attention that they need.

Since forming our UK company in 2006, we have only ever had a maximum of 6 children in a group and we intend to continue this.  This has proven successful with enhancing and inspiring all of the above.

Homework

We believe homework is absolutely crucial in order to form a healthy routine in a child’s day to day life which enhances steady progress and avoids overloading a child with work nearing their exams.

We provide homework after every lesson, which should be completed without the help of parents, teaching children a key skill of independent learning.

Progress Reports

Absorb Knowledge Successfully does not believe in set dates for a progress report. A brief feedback will be given to parents after every lesson and if a detailed discussion is required, a meeting with your tutor will be available at any time and as many times as you wish throughout the year.
